Truth About 21st C Christianity (3)

Restoring Bible Truths of The Reformation.

The Reformation opposed the religion of humanism posing as Christianity in the church. 500 years have passed since Luther’s 1517 Wittenberg declaration, but the church of the 21st C still suffers from pervasive humanism in every quarter. The 18th C. outbreak of Christian humanism in the Enlightenment inevitably led to its 19th C pandemic in freewill America.

1. Mankind, albeit religious or not, is unable to trust his Maker even in the face of miracles.
2. Vainly the intelligentsia will try to prove that the positive mindset is faith
3. Humanism in the Renaissance and the Enlightenment claimed that universally mankind is innately good.
4. Humanists characterize humans as possessing natural created ability of mind, and heart to understand and respond to God’s overtures if they so desire. They claim such seekers may do so without the need of divine grace beforehand.
5. Thus man is portrayed as the master of his own destiny and his course is alone determined by freewill choice.

500 Years Ago Martin Luther Shook the World

500 Years Ago Luther Shook the World

500 Years Ago Martin Luther Shook Germany the centre of the Holy Roman Empire and its Catholic Church control.
From 800 AD for 700 years Rome’s water, wine and wafer rites were used to justify millions from their sins.
This had remained unchallenged since Charlemagne.

Though Luther’s 91 theses had been nailed to the Wittenberg Chapel door, the essence of his protest as harbinger of free Protestantism was ‘the just shall live by faith,’ through the grace of Christ. This echoed the message of Paul the apostle, and the prophets that grace alone brings an unshakeably unique faith. It cannot be compared with the weak and double-minded faith of earthlings.

Men clerics, pastors, and ministers may strut in the confidence of their sectarian doctrines’ supremacy, but the faith of Christ given to the believer at the behest of God the Father alone gives regenerating assurance, joy unspeakable and peace passing all understanding.

With today’s automated human faith that uses affirmation, repeated lip confession and the psychology based gospel salesmanship of fundamentalism humanism has replaced Luther’s focus on “the just shall live by faith” through grace. Faith is now assumed by sacramentalists, orthodox confessionalism, liberals, evangelicals, and fundamentalists. Bible believing saints, alias ‘sheep’ feel like Luther grieved and smitten by rampant apostasy.

Bishops, prelates and pontiffs with their their pastors’ water of rebirth may scorn radical conversion by the grace of Jesus Christ but their automated easy-religion does not gull the sheep of the kingdom who were changed from goats into sheep by the faith of Him who bore their sins upon the tree.

EVANGELISTS HAVE GOT IT ALL WRONG.

EVANGELISTS HAVE GOT IT ALL WRONG.
1. They think results depend upon their verbosity
2. They think mastery of the method wins souls
3. They think their own prayers most crucial
4. They think private lay prayers are secondary
5. They think filling a meeting house is success
6. They think the invitee’s own faith is the key catalyst
7. They think responders’ lips make heaven’s doors open
8. They think responders’ physical foot and hand motion is eternal life
9. They think their meetings in His house are the most important
10. They and their pastors have locked out free prayer from His House
11. “My house shall be called the house of prayer! You’ve made it a den of thieves.”
12. You have stolen away any space, place or room for gathered saints to pray.
13. You are bereft of the spirit of prayer which alone ushers in new babes in Christ.
14. With froth and bubble, toil and trouble you’ve relied on your own superiority
15. In your self-centred sowing of seed you have allowed the enemy to sow his own.
16. You want the fire, but you keep hot coals apart to prevent it starting.
17. In your mechanized evangelism and stilted control of the laity you’ve created sterility and still births. You have robbed His House of the spirit of prayer the very agent of new birth and regeneration.

Joel 1:17. “The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.”

The Truth About Christian Baptism

TWO OF ROME’S SEVEN SACRAMENTS STILL IN THE PROTESTANT BIBLE.
With the advent of Gutenberg’s 15th C printing press the 16th C Puritan Fathers of the Reformation began printing Bibles in the national tongues of nearby regions. Precious Greek manuscripts came to Europe, when Islam invaded Constantinople in the early 15th C. Thus the Renaissance Christian humanists gained unprecedented access to the original Koine Greek Scriptures. One of these was Erasmus who published a Greek New Testament about 1519, only two years after Martin Luther began the Reformation.

This opened the eyes of scholars and translators to five of the seven Latin sacraments that did not appear in the original Greek. They had been inserted by the Roman Emperor Constantine shortly after ascending the throne in the early 4th C. He had instructed Eusebius and his team of literati to revise the Old Latin Bible and scroll fifty new Latin Bibles endorsing his seven priestly sacraments for the inaugural founding of his Church of Rome.

However, the first German, English, and French Bibles printed included only the rites of water, wine and wafer integral to the two ordinances found in the Greek Testament of Erasmus.

During this study we will look at these two rites and the disparities between the three apostolic commissions found in Matthew, Mark, and Luke’s Acts of the Apostles. Not only was each commission different from the others, but two of them were , in hindsight, never endorsed by the Saviour during the entire length of his earthly ministry before his arrest. While this can be verified from any of the three Synoptic Gospels, it is also true of the fourth Gospel, notwithstanding one rumour to the contrary in John 3.

The Truth About Christian Baptism

CHRISTIAN’S MARITAL CONFLICT

THREE ADJUSTMENTS OF NEWLY MARRIED CHRISTIANS
“if you marry, you have not sinned…nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh…
Remember, that in a mini marital crisis of adjustment Jesus is always available, day or night as Counsellor, and Advocate. Do not wait for a full blown crisis, because by then it may be far more difficult for beneficial remedy. Go over the verses in this short essay and He will consult with you.

It’s never too late or too early to confess faults and sins to the beloved spouse. But do not go fishing for sins that are “buried in the sea of His forgetfulness” that is grievous unbelief and also needs washing in the eternal fount that covers sins’ stains. Not to do so will wound self and the beloved. Accepted or not confess them with little or no comment and matter of fact cadence. Avoid prolonged self deprecation; emotional display of sorrow ; a wounded self-pitiful speech lamenting the offending action to the aggrieved spouse. Efforts begging for acceptance of confession usually are counterproductive and are neither proof of sincerity nor success of the attempt to placate the aggrieved.

Done? Let it rest! “Whatsoever is not of faith is sin,” Recriminatory nostalgia is a form of self pity to be abjured, so do not undermine what the Lord Counsellor has covered, forgiven and buried. Nostalgic self torture by regressing into pedantic self pity is sinning against Him. Better by far to let it go than give the inner accuser of the brethren opportunity to steal the peace of the Spirit. Ponder on Romans 8:1 remembering the words of John the apostle: ‘if our heart condemn us God is greater than our heart’. No response should be made to accusation if it is later raised. Remain mute and leave it with God.

Remember that under Mosaic Levitical law a soldier was given a whole year off to adjust to his new bride. Because of the weakness of the woman, the weaker vessel, there is more traumatic adjustment by the man. The conflict between the genders even in the most hallowed of unions is always a present trouble. “You shall have trouble in the flesh,” (1 Corinthians 7).

The older we are the greater the difficulty. If we wind tight the cords of control we only make matters worse for ourselves and give the enemy more opportunity to exploit even the most trivial of differences.

BIBLE THOUGHTS ON GENDER TEMPTATION, AND THE CURSE
1 Timothy 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Eve in her state of innocence (not original righteousness) may have been lonesome. A couple may live together and still be lonely. Being a help-mate means sharing quality time together. The apex of such occurs when two sit together and are comfortable with each other’s silence. When interchange is limited to question and answer; distracting devices to entertain and amuse; and vocal verbosity then quality time has not started. If leisurely enjoyment of each other depends on sound, image, or physical activity, then the two have yet to have a meeting of the minds.

The greatest joys come from the simplest things in life, not the artificial representation of same on the screen of the pc; TV; telephone; camera, etc.
Eve perhaps was neglected, then strayed being drawn of her curiosity to hearsay and religious mysticism. These traits became part of the permanent curse, naturally leading that gender to be more religious than the other.

Adjustment: readiness to cope with gender trauma.
1. …”and your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you.” Genesis 3.
2. The unbridled desire to possess and control the partner is an endemic part of original sin, magnified by God’s promised curse. The frustrated desire to control or subjugate the opposite gender can turn very ugly. Resentfulness towards the would-be controller can develop in unpredictable ways. Cain’s violent response to Abel was only the start of the terrible downward spiral of Adam’s descendants. Genetically the XXX chromosome man and the YYY chromosome woman are far more intolerant of others trying to control them. In a religiously enforced environment the judgmental man may be found unbearable. Especially is this so when he is judge, jury and executioner all in one.
3. The curse did not just cause conflict between the woman and the serpent, but also between male and female through conflicting desires to rule over each other. Whether in the open, or under the surface, the desire to be a matriarchal manipulator of the husband will surface trying his patience and tolerance. The higher the predominance of Y chromosomes the more frequent its occurrence. On the other hand the male desire to police, legislate and even punish the angel he married depends upon the amount of X chromosomes in his DNA. While his patriarchal self justification makes him turn a blind eye to his own aberrant desire to control, Paul indicates in Romans 7 that the lust to control others (especially one’s spouse) will be present until the redemption of the body. (Romans 8, 1 Corinthians 15.)

a. Apart from the gender conflict, with which William and Catherine Booth struggled, the saint who has been alone or single has an adjustment challenge. To pretend otherwise is to make marriage fragile indeed. Basically it is apportioning personal time on a new basis.
4. Adjustment: reorientation of self for the other.
a. For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 1 Corinthians 11:8-9
b. “But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried cares for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: But he that is married cares for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife” (1 Corinthians 7:32-3)

5. Adjustment: coping with Oneself . All saints must face this third adjustment: the blight within.
a. Our best intentions to restrain our controlling tendencies are fraught with the endemic curse within us: ‘the body of this death’. “ For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” Romans 7:22-24
b. “For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would.”
Galatians 5:17

Though the lady is called the weaker vessel, the man is much weaker when he refuses to acknowledge this emotional attribute of one born to be a mother. A husband’s strength becomes his greatest weakness. The attributes of a Christian gentleman are considered weakness by the world, but not by God. When the wife admits her weakness for hearsay, curiosity, and distrust of her partner she becomes a giant for God. When, however, she leans on a cultish charismatic person of the church as surrogate father then marital trust in her spouse can be seriously endangered. Counseling of one spouse apart from the other usually leads to a partisan spirit.

THE GREATEST DANGER.
Having too high expectations of the spouse can become a serious problem. Especially is this so in exclusive assemblies of separated saints. John Darby, C I Schofield and J Frank Norris encountered this cycle.

Where freewill concepts blind the man to his own weaknesses (Romans 7, Galatians 6) puritanical hypocrisy may ensue. This pivots on relentless judgmentalism that inflexibly implements a higher standard in the spouse with catastrophic results. The ensuing alienation is rarely tolerable and separation becomes inevitable. Post marital separational trauma builds an almost irreversible cycle. Jesus warned of censoriousness that sees a splintered speck in the spouse’s eye, but is oblivious of the large foreign body distorting the vision of the beholder.

REACTIONARY NUCLEAR FISSION.
Often the damage is not the judgmental criticism of the spouse, but the reaction of the critic to the inadequate defensive response by the vilified. Thus the accuser in one fell stroke becomes the judge, jury and executioner in a bout of tyranny.
Proverbs 25:28 He that has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Proverbs 18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?
(COMMENT: the infirmity may be his thorn in the flesh, but once a man’s spirit is wounded there is little equanimity left to sustain him against domestic conflict.)

Proverbs 15:13 … by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

(COMMENT: the cycle of sorrow unabated will break the spirit. This applies to negative reminisces, to purposeful avoidance of contention in the home.

Proverbs 17:22 …a broken spirit dries the bones.
(COMMENT: it is paramount that one monitors the interactional stress which progressively threatens to break the spirit. If unchecked by counter strategies bodily health may suffer.)

James 5:16

CHRISTENDOM’S CHAOS: WATER, WINE, & WAFER.

THE CHAOS OF CHRISTENDOM OVER WATER WINE AND WAFER. (Part 1)
1. The readability of this radical article is dependent upon whether or not the reader is totally captive to any one church, or the Man of the Book, Jesus Christ.

2. The primacy of Jesus’ practice and teaching during his life-time ministry is more sacrosanct than those of flawed human apostles; or early Roman Church Fathers (apostolic fathers) in the post apostolic period of the 2nd C and 3rd C.

3. Whoever thinks that is not the case has been indoctrinated with one form of ecclesiasticism or another, and equates the infallibility of early apostolic practice with that of Christ.

4. The life, sayings and teachings of Jesus Christ during his forty months’ mission was not superseded by others writing after his death in the posthumous period before he rose from the grave.

5. There should be no conflict between his practice before Calvary and the Great Commission to the Eleven. If there are two opposing apostolic commissions in the first five books of the New Testament the only one acceptable is that consistent with the New Testament predictions by John the last prophet of the Law; the Lord Jesus himself, and Old Testament prophets.

6. This position may seem radically wrong to most believers who have been so indoctrinated from birth with the religion of Rome’s water, wine and wafer of any Roman styled sacramental denomination. Whether in the East or the West this position will also appear disturbing to Rome’s ‘separated brethren in Protestant or non Roman churches that comprise Christendom’s 2,800 denominations (Barratt 1970).

7. The reformers exiting from Roman Catholicism did not go far enough. They dumped 5 of The Holy Roman Empire’s seven sacraments added by the Emperor to the Latin Bible, but failed to examine Constantine’s 4th C Greek yet for inconsistencies in reaming two. Those water, wine and wafer rites caused division, disunity and disarray in disparate practices of transubstantiation, consubstantiation, and Zwinglian memorialism.

8. The student researcher of the Scriptures, like the Bereans is urged to ‘search the Scriptures to see if these things be so’. Hasty or indignant rejection of this short thesis as mere ideology is caused by addiction to one apostle or another; saturation by ecclesiastical tradition; pontificating clergy, or dishonest pragmatic intellectualization.

9. Of the five Roman Church’s sacraments the early Reformers from the 14th C Renaissance onwards began to abandon the ecclesiastic traditions, precedents, and practice of the thousand years after Constantine’s compulsory nationalization of Christianity.

10. The Waldensian, Albigensian, Hussite, Lollard, and Huguenot Christians were reformers even before Luther posted his 1517 thesis of ‘the just shall live by faith’. Even humanist scholars like Erasmus became involved with the Reformers’ quest.

CHRISTENDOM’S CHAOS: WATER, WINE, & WAFER.

PRAYERLESSNESS OF OUR CHURCHES. (1)

The role of freewill faith in the demise of prayer.

Jesus predicted the ‘falling away’, or the apostasy of our day at the ‘beginning of sorrows’ in the last days. The time has truly arrived and prayerlessness is part of it.

The cause is that evangelism today has a rationale the very opposite of the saints during the 14th C to the early 19th C. The changes came with New England Theology’s 19th C evangelism of ‘easy religion’.

The influence of the lapsed Jonathon Edwards (“Freedom of the Will’ 1746) and the new concept of faith by psychologist William James, were the roots of change. Both combined to accelerate the old error of Origen’s freewill faith that was later echoed by Pelagius.

James, the father of American psychology, was a closeted agnostic, but his new ideology spread throughout colleges, seminaries and theological halls of learning. He with Edwards previous New England Theology, successfully destroyed the necessity and credibility of radical conversion from previous centuries.

Dramatic 19th C. Changes.
(1) Among them was a new breed of rough and ready evangelists who emerged with the gift of the gab. They were often uneducated but sensational stage performers, who grabbed the quick admiration of the masses. The attraction was their emotional bombast offering automatic unconditional entry pass to heaven that was irrevocable.

(2) D. Moody, B. Sunday, R. Torrey, and a host of zealous evangels offered a magical new method of faith with a fast track to glory. Billy Sunday’s handshake; walking the sawdust trail; lifting a hand; bending a knee; moving the lips, were all ways of rapidly receiving eternal life. These new methods were ratified by the invitee lisping affirmation by rote repetition of the tutors’ words in a ‘sinners’ prayer’, a travesty of prayer itself.

(3) Ironically these persuasive gospel salesmen called the respondent’s actions repentance and faith.
(4) Thus, the parroted response of the invitees was said to be adequate proof of their unconditional, irrevocable eternal salvation because any lisping lip movement was said to be faith, according to Romans 10:9.
(5) Ultra bibliolatry, using one verse twisted from its context, became the new idolatrous fetish that moved masses into the church.
(6) Heightened altar-mania occurred globally after 1948, commencing with concentrated city campaigns of the Billy Graham Crusades and the further developments of mass media that ensued.
(7) The mass conversions over the last seventy years have been most questionable.

(8) Even separatist critics of Billy Graham’s ecumenism, still use the same ideology based on the erroneous ability of universal innate ‘faith’ using Romans 10:9 &13 as catalysts automatic regeneration of the Spirit.
An admixture of modernized faith, freewill theology, and American salesmanship brought 19th C. easy conversion to the masses. Right wing conservatives, evangelicals, and fundamentalists were gulled and soon captivated by the borrowed cliché, ‘revival’. Unlike the spirit of prayer which had generated previous awakening and conversion it was now unashamedly generated by humanist methodology.

HOW SAINTS READ THE BIBLE. (5)

HOW SAINTS READ THE BIBLE. (5)
There are multitudes who read the Bible for various motives. Some even think that of itself the practice of devotional reading gives all sorts of divine benefits.

Many presume that adopting its positivist philosophy equates to faith, but the artifice of wearing a smile and voicing optimistic sentiments do little to camouflage such pretence, despite the peer pressure to do so. In fact the large majority who read the Scripture only make token gesture effort to search the WORD, because they have not the Spirit within.

Excuses by half hearted readers.
1) EXCUSE: I do not want to be tied down. If I have time I will look at the Bible today.
a. ANSWER: This attitude belongs to a religious goat dependent upon his self-will.
b. ANSWER:A sheep (saint) has an irrepressible thirst for the Word which cannot be repressed. The goat is at ease and reads only what is convenient.

2)EXCUSE: ‘I don’t always feel like reading the Bible if I am having a bad day.
a. ANSWER: Emotions matter to the goat, but the sheep is another creature and will not be deterred.

HOW SAINTS READ THE BIBLE. (5)

FAITHLESS CHURCH OF THE LAST DAYS

WESTERN CHURCH REJECTS FAITH BY GRACE?
Of the world’s 2,800 denominations (Barratt 1970) there are five main segments in the Christendom’s churches:

1. The sacramental church Christians, captives of tradition;
2. The liberal church Christians serving critical intellectualism;
3. The moral-majority church Christians addicted to a moralizing agenda
4. The conservative church Christians often evangelical and Conservative
5. The separatist fringe-dwelling church Christians claiming sectarian uniqueness

The universal faith of the religious Christian is often misplaced. Freewill faith belongs to humanist voluntarism, espoused by Origen at first, then more radically by Pelagius, his successor.

After 3rd C Origen self-will faith was echoed by Constantine’s 4th C Church of Rome; the Renaissance; the 18th C Enlightenment and finally by 19th C New England Theology evangelicals. The 18th C positivist philosophy which viewed man as basically good, betrayed the New Testament truth of his evil heart, darkened conscience, deceitful motives and wayward will, which is captive to original sin.

Since 1846 the USA evangelicals have rejected the Reformation’s righteousness of faith: a faith given by grace to the wholehearted seeker. Instead they claimed man is able by innate self-faith to access God’s grace under the sound of the Gospel preacher. The preceding saints’ intercessory prayer gatherings that would empower such preaching were overlooked and the evangelist became the chief catalyst. This new concept was built on the false premise that a measure of grace and faith is universally resident in man from the image of God he bears. Thus his assumed ability to understand, and seek the Lord becomes active in the presence of preaching. Yet, hinged alone on the vehicle of preaching the new genre of fundamental evangels unwittingly compromised the New Testament. The prophets and the apostles said that no one naturally understands the preaching of the Word, nor wants to seek Christ . (1 Corinthians 1:21; Romans 3:11; 1 Corinthians 2:13-14.)

Automated, mechanical evangelism soon abandoned the old-time weekly intercessors’ meeting and in its humanistic flurry of extemporary bombast it persuaded men to be converts of the church, but not of Christ.
Ditching original sin and replacing it with an unsullied image of God within man can never do more than sow tares in the harvest field of the world that once received the good seed of the Sower.

The Bible doctrine of faith through grace was inverted so that human self-willed faith became the key to conversion and the phenomenal growth of church empires in the USA. This easy-religion of stage produced sensationalism wowed the American populace as it tried to simulate a third Great Awakening. But it has constantly lacked the spirit of prayer, so essential to any awakening of the lost and the arresting power of the Spirit so paramount before conversion.

Oratorical persuasion of itself is a poor substitute. This new genre featured Billy Sunday, who won converts by a handshake at the end of his tent meetings. Also the likes of 19th C Dwight L Moody and Reuben A Torrey, mechanized automated conversion of the masses and devised modern methods of prayer to GET WHAT WAS DESIRED FROM GOD. The most famous fetish (still in vogue today) was to repeat the rote ‘Sinner’s Prayer’ for immediate salvation based on Romans 10:9 and 10:13 twisted from their context.

FAITHLESS CHURCH OF THE LAST DAYS

EXPOSING CHURCH MYTHS WITH BIBLE TRUTHS. (1)

MYTH: ORIGINAL RIGHTEOUSNESS. Adam fell from ‘a righteous state’ when he sinned.

1. THE TRUTH: Though Adam’s succumbing to the wiles of a woman provoked God’s endemic curse on mankind and the creation, nowhere in either Testament is it described as a “fall”. He succumbed to Eve and Satan’s temptation to reject God’s offer of eternal life. But he did not FALL from righteousness, but rejected the righteousness of faith.

2. THE TRUTH: Adam was created in a state of innocence without virtue or vice.

MYTH: ADAM MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD was holy and righteous.

3. THE TRUTH Adam had neither original righteousness nor the INDWELLING Spirit of holiness and righteousness. God however, was WITH him until he was exiled from His presence. God was WITH Israel of the Exodus, but His Spirit only WITHIN Moses, Joshua and Caleb. Abel, Seth, Enoch, Noah, and Abram were some of the few who not only walked with God in primordial time, but within whom the Spirit of God dwelled by grace

4. THE TRUTH: God is tripartite and Adam was created uniquely as a tripartite being. God is triune:- the Father, the Word (The Son), and the Spirit (1 John 5:7) and He said, “Let us make man in our own image.” Thus Adam had a threefold existence but is one being: body, soul, and spirit and he also reflects each decision and action within himself. He confers within himself, his sense of humour enables him to laugh at himself and at others. He intellectualizes with himself and then takes rational action. These imprints of God’s image are over and above the basic instinctive appetites and senses, and they are unique to humans in the animal kingdom.

5. THE TRUTH: Adam was made a terrestrial creature from the earth itself, but unlike all other creatures he possessed more than animal instincts, appetites, and senses. He had a plurality of being which was exceptional among creatures.

6. THE TRUTH: God wanted fellowship with Adam, but he needed more than a state of innocence wherein he was able to hear God’s instructions. Fellowship is not a one sided affair. Thus the Lord placed the regenerating fruit of the tree-of-life should he desire to enter into fellowship with his Lord and Master. But alas he conspired instead with his wife to sample the KNOWLEDGE of the gods and the ethereal powers from the ‘prince and power of the air,’ who is the ‘god’ of this world.

7. THE TRUTH: The doctrine of Adam’s original righteousness was hatched by the emerging Church of Rome in the 3rd century at the time of building the first church and the first priest was ordained. This myth with other pagan beliefs of Rome has been perpetuated down through the ages.

8. THE TRUTH: When Emperor Constantine’s ‘Church of Rome was finally inaugurated about 311 AD the mythical ‘water of regeneration’ in his compulsory mass baptisms were said to remove ‘original sin’ and restore ‘original righteousness’ to the baptized. This myth has been perpetuated down through the millennia to present day Christendom.

9. THE TRUTH: ADAM.HEARD GOD’S INSTRUCTIONS? Though God talked to Adam this did not equate to righteousness. Though Adam was at fist innocent without sin his innocence was not righteousness. God talked to unrighteous prophets and false prophets, Balaam the soothsayer being one example.God can and will use what and whom he will, even the unrighteous Balaam, just as he used the early Twelve disciples of Christ before they were converted on the first day of the resurrection. Judas Iscariot heard Jesus pair him with a fellow disciple to go as a twosome to preach, heal, and deliver. Yet borrowing the power of the NAME neither justified him or made him righteous. God was with him for a season, then later left him to Satan’s devices.
